This effort is less about doing and more about listening, learning and building relationships. The evangelical culture has always been an active, doing culture. We can celebrate the good of that, but on this issue, doing and serving without listening, empathy and trust actually cause harm.

We are inviting people to “do” by simply coming to the conversation with humility and a desire to learn from our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. We trust that as we engage the ways to take action will become clear as they flow from relationships of trust and a shared understanding of the challenges we face.
